BIO
Journeys, inward or outward, are the inspiration for Julia Cluett’s photography. Whether portraiture or landscapes, her photographs convey intimacy and vulnerability, inviting contemplation in everyday moments.
Julia holds a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) and a Master's in Social Work from Salem State University (Salem, MA).
In addition to studying with Joyce Tenneson and David Hilliard at the Maine Media Workshops + College, Julia has exhibited at members’ shows at the Griffin Museum of Photography (2020, 2024), and in juried shows (The Curated Fridge, 2024; Griffin Museum of Photography 31st Annual Juried Members’ Exhibition, 2025).
When Julia is not behind the lens, she is helping individuals and families at end-of-life as a grief therapist in Massachusetts.
